If Sam Torrance’s top “19” holes are anything to go by then you’re in for a treat when you stay at Kinloch House. All within an hour’s drive are Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, Downfield, the Old Course and St Andrews Bay and just over the hour Balcomie, Crail with hole no. 5 – Hell’s Hole!

Staying closer to home there is Blairgowrie Golf Club with two excellent courses (Rosemount and Lansdowne) and the newer courses of Strathmore and Glenisla, all on the doorstep of Altyh Golf Course.

In fact don’t tell the non golfers ........but there is virtually a golf course around almost every corner!
